What services do you offer?
The easier question would be: what services don’t we offer! We advise start-ups and SMEs on workplace benefits, review any schemes they currently have in place and negotiate the best policies and price points on their behalf.

Once a benefits scheme is in place, we’ll always be happy to take your calls and help with policy claims should there be any disagreements with an insurance provider. When a scheme is up for renewal, we’ll review all your policies to ensure they are providing value for money.

What kind of businesses do you work with?
In truth, we’re ready, willing and able to help any business. Our key focus has always been the start-up and small business community because they are so often overlooked when it comes to employee benefits advice and guidance. However, our services extend to helping larger businesses and those with global employees too.
Do you handle international insurance?
Yes, we are one of the few brokers in the market with expertise in international health and protection policies. Call our international team on 01273 222805 for more information.
Are you authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority?
Hooray Health & Protection (FCA number 912853) are an appointed representative of Engage Health Group (Financial Conduct Authority No. 812846), who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Will Hooray offer support after I’ve invested in a benefits scheme?
Yes of course – our support and advice doesn’t stop once we’ve found your policies! We can help introduce policies into your workplace, whether through written guidance or team presentations.
We’ll also provide help with claims should you encounter any problems and review benefit schemes when they come up for renewal.
Do you receive commission? Or do we have to pay for your services?
Ultimately, we work on a commission basis, so you won’t have to pay us a penny. Here’s how it works:
Normally, an insurer would need a sales team to handle queries from potential customers. But when a broker gets involved, like Hooray, the insurer’s sales team is bypassed, saving them time and money. That saving is then transferred to the broker.
It’s really important to say that Hooray doesn’t work on behalf of any insurer, instead we work across the whole market on your behalf.
What are your credentials as a benefits broker and consultant?
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and are members of the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII). All our advisors have professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII).
Can you meet us face to face?
Hooray Health & Protection are a digital insurance brokers and can guarantee to provide you the same level of service with our online reviews and will charge no fee. If it has to be face to face, we’re happy to meet you but depending on your location, we may have to charge a fee.
Are you working on behalf of an insurer?
Most certainly not! Hooray is an independent broker which means that we scour all the insurers out there to bring the best policies to you. Ultimately, we work on your behalf and in your best interests.
Can you help lower the cost of health insurance and benefits more widely?
The short answer is: yes. By working across the whole market of providers, we can quickly compare policies and quotes to find you the best policies at the best price. And you don’t have to pay us a penny! Often, we can find deals better than you’ll find advertised publicly.
Can you help boost employee retention and recruitment?
Yes, a well-designed benefit scheme helps lower staff turnover and improve recruitment. This has long been the case, but post-pandemic and during a challenging economic time, the demand for extra employer support has sky-rocketed.
There is lots of research backing up the importance of work perks. According to research by Boundless, 55% would consider moving elsewhere for a more competitive benefits package.

Do you help with claims?
Yes! We’ll swoop in to help with a claim if you feel you’ve unfairly refused a pay-out. We’ll go through your claim and consider whether you’ve got a case. If we think you do, then we’ll take it up with the insurer on your behalf.

Where can I find your offices?
Our offices are based in Lees House, 21-23 Dyke Road, Brighton, BN1 3FE
