Main responsibilities:
Writing content blogs for both Engage and Hooray websites, boosting social presence, working on different campaigns and press releases – getting the Hooray and Engage brands out there!
Why did you join?
Writing has always been a huge passion of mine! So when the opportunity came up where I could work on my writing craft, developing my portfolio and skills, I couldn’t pass it up. Starting in a completely new industry was also appealing as I’ve been learning as I go – broadening my understanding of the market.
What do you like most about the company?
We have such a great team working here, and it makes a huge difference in creating a positive environment for a mixture of people. I also love how flexible the company is in allowing me to work from home, but also to come in whenever I want!
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Being able to create content and see all my efforts paying off in what I’ve written for the company.
What’s your favourite workplace perk?
Favourite perks are, again, being able to have flexible working and regular work socials with the team.
Any hobbies?
Swimming in the sea, going for walks, and knitting (although I’m very slow and have been working on the same scarf now for quite a long time).
Favourite band/artist?
A real mixture – always held a love for Dire Straits but also enjoy things like disco/house DJs e.g., Folamour.
